Huge congratulations are in order for our fantastic Year 9 boys’ cricket team, who secured a brilliant victory on Tuesday 23rd June to become the Blackpool Schools Cricket Champions.
In a tense and closely fought match against Montgomery Academy, the team showed incredible determination and skill to win by 15 runs. It was an excellent display of school sport, featuring some truly fantastic catches in the field and some lovely, composed batting under pressure.
The boys played some great cricket throughout the tournament and thoroughly deserve this success. Well done to the entire squad for representing St Mary’s with such talent, we are thrilled with your achievement!
