Some of our Year 8 students recently had the fantastic opportunity to visit DePuy Synthes, where they gained a valuable insight into the world of medical technology and engineering.
Throughout the visit, students explored how innovative products are designed and manufactured to help improve patients’ lives around the world. They learned about the wide range of careers available within the industry, from engineering and research to manufacturing and quality control.
The students were excellent ambassadors for the school, demonstrating curiosity, enthusiasm and maturity throughout the day. They asked thoughtful questions, engaged positively with the activities and showed a genuine interest in the work being carried out at DePuy Synthes.
The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for students to see how the subjects they study in school can be applied in real-world settings and helped to inspire future aspirations. We would like to thank the team at DePuy Synthes for their warm welcome and for providing such an informative and engaging experience.
