We are absolutely thrilled to share some magnificent sporting news from one of our very own Year 7 students, Sarah, who recently travelled to Portugal to compete on the international stage. Over the weekend of Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June, Sarah represented with her local team, the Blackpool Scorpions Allstars, at the prestigious 2026 European Summit in Lisbon.
Competing in such a high-profile European tournament is an incredible achievement in itself, but Sarah and her teammates truly excelled under pressure. Facing incredibly tough competition, including teams featuring much older, senior cheerleaders, the Scorpions Allstars delivered a sensational performance to place 5th in Europe.
To achieve a top-five European ranking is a phenomenal feat, and we are immensely proud of Sarah’s dedication, teamwork, and determination. Please join us in congratulating Sarah and her team on this spectacular success. They truly smashed it!
