Year 10 Step Up to the Challenge with Saturday Maths

A classroom view from the back showing Year 10 students at St. Mary's Catholic Academy sitting at desks during a Saturday Maths session. The students are focused on their workbooks and a projector screen displaying a maths problem at the front of the room. A teacher is standing near the back helping a student, and a small crucifix is visible on the wall above the whiteboard.

Following our exceptionally well-attended Year 10 Parents’ Evening recently, the Academy officially launched the first in a series of dedicated
Saturday Maths sessions. These targeted classes were introduced to provide our students with the best possible preparation ahead of their crucial end-of-year exams.

Our Year 10 students made a fantastic start to the programme, demonstrating an admirable work ethic and maturity. They worked incredibly hard under the expert guidance and encouragement of Miss Hankovics and Miss Burdekin, laying an excellent foundation for their assessments.

Thank you to all the parents and carers for their continued support, and well done to all the students involved for their dedication to their studies.
