At the end of June we had our final visit of the year from Woodlands School. Due to the very hot weather we had to change our plans from using the ovens to make scones, to making something a little cooler!
Under the expert eye of Mrs Wade and Mrs Fisher we undertook the “Tunnock’s Teacake Challenge” which involved plating and decorating skills.
This was great fun and everyone demonstrated their artistic skills to a high standard. The pupils were able to eat their creations at the end of the lesson and each received a certificate for their efforts.
As ever we were given excellent assistance by our sixth form students – Amelia, Gracie, Tiarna and Kayleigh.
