There was a wonderful atmosphere on the school field at the beginning of July as students from Years 7, 9, and 10 gathered for a mini rounders tournament. It was a lovely evening filled with plenty of cheering and encouragement for everyone involved.
The competition was incredibly tight, with the teams locked in a 5-5 tie after the first innings. The mixed Year 9 and 10 team batted first in the second innings, setting a target of 9.5 rounders.
The chase came down to a dramatic finale. With the final batter called for the Year 7 team, they needed just one rounder to clinch victory. The Year 7s delivered under pressure, scoring the winning run to finish on 10 rounders.
Fun was certainly had by all. Well done to everyone who took part for showing such fantastic school spirit!
