Course Description

Students who choose to study Triple Science will be taught GCSE Biology, GCSE Chemistry and GCSE Physics separately by subject specialists. Students will develop scientific knowledge and conceptual understanding of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Students who choose Triple Science will cover more content than students who choose GCSE Combined Science. Students will study a number of topics including bioenergetics, organic chemistry and electricity.

Future Opportunities

Studying Triple Science will provide great preparation for students who wish to study A Level Sciences. The problem solving and logical thinking skills that Triple Science develops are highly valued in many fields. Good qualifications in Biology, Chemistry and Physics are valuable for all employment options, Sixth Form entry requirements and are essential for A Level Science courses. High grades in GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics will provide access to careers in medicine, dentistry, engineering and scientific research.
