COVID 19 update Thursday 26th March

Dear all,
Hopefully you are getting into a routine during lock down and students are managing to keep busy with work.
We received a lovely thank you letter from a very grateful parent this morning who is able to carry on with their key worker role. We will continue to support some students within the Academy and are grateful to parents for keeping this to a minimum and making it manageable.
Y11 and 13 now have the information they need via email in relation to work they need to do. Please contact subject staff if you are unsure.
Once again PE with Joe Wicks at 9am at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyCLoPd4VxBvQafyve889qVcPxYEjdSTl was a great way to start the day, our PE staff are loving hearing from students who have completed this.
Please encourage your children to keep up with their reading whilst at home for which resources have been provided.
Don't forget there are also prayer resources on the Academy website and a well being section. Please keep joining the millions of people around the world praying at this difficult time.
I would like to repeat my reminder to students how important it is that we observe the lockdown that the government has requested to protect the most vulnerable in our society. Try and stay focused on your work and being helpful at home.
Please get in touch if you have any concerns and we will do our best to help,

Regards,

Mr Eccles
