Peter Pan

Year 7 Literary Canon – Book 4

From reading Peter Pan, our form has perceived that the film version is completely different to the book. For example; you assume the joyful character we know as Tinker Bell is full of excitement and affection, however, she can be the opposite. This gives us the thought that it seems that the author has an entirely different overview of the Disney model of Peter Pan. Even though a lot of the characteristics of the characters are different, this story was easy to imagine in your head because the storyline links with the film.

Our favourite character in the book was Tinkerbell because she has an attitude but at heart she is very kind and caring. She looks out for Peter when he's in trouble and does her best to take care of him. We rate this book 9/10 because it was adventurous and exciting and not a book we would normally choose to read.

Peter Pan has enabled us to step into the world of make believe.
