Dear Parents and Carers,
We have reached the end of another busy year at St Mary’s.
You will know from our weekly newsletters what an incredibly “life to the full” year it has been. I want to thank all of the school staff, governors, the team at BEBCMAT, our students and, of course, all of you for supporting our work.
As a result of this hard work we had a very pleasing Ofsted experience, the details of which will be shared with you as soon as the report is officially released.
As you know this is also the end of my time at St Mary’s. I am now genuinely on the road to Emmaus – the Trust I will join as executive leader in Manchester. I have loved every minute of my 17 years at St Mary’s and I will miss it greatly, but it is the right time for me and my family for a change in pace and direction.
Thank you all for the memories, the support and the challenge, and the advice that has helped keep our school improving.
