Among the many personal triumphs across the year group, Diwash achieved a remarkable three A* grades and will be taking up a place at the University of Oxford to study Medicine. He joins an impressive roster of students heading off to prestigious destinations across the country, with Freddie reading Law at the University of Manchester, Max studying Law at Lancaster University, Zuzannah pursuing Law and Criminology, and Franki taking the next step toward a career in Physiotherapy.
Whether securing places in competitive fields like healthcare, law, and medicine, or embarking on degree apprenticeships and vocational pathways, our students’ individual journeys reflect the sheer breadth of ambition within our Sixth Form.
Outstanding Results Across the Board
These individual stories contribute to another year of fantastic overall achievements for St Mary’s Sixth Form:
- 98.5% pass rate across all A Level and Level 3 vocational courses, with 68% of A Level grades at C or higher.
- 100% pass rate in Cambridge Technical vocational courses, with 69% of grades at Distinction and 94% at Merit or better.
- 93% of students in the Blackpool Theatre Collective achieved a Triple Distinction or higher in Performing Arts.
