  I am delighted to introduce St. Mary's community to you. The college offers a unique faith-based education for students from Year 7 up to Sixth Form. Mr Stephen Tierney

Working closely together with parents, our Catholic primary schools and local parishes we strive to help young people live life to the full. The uniqueness of each child is recognized and developed through;

  • our strong caring and supportive pastoral system
  • our team of lay chaplains
  • a rich, engaging and varied prayer life
  • and the outstanding contribution of our RE Department.

High quality teaching enables all students to experience success and achievement in their learning. A dedicated pathway for more able students is enhanced by teaching staff whose expertise is developed through daily contact with A-level students.

An extensive extra-curricular programme helps nurture the different talents of our students in drama, music, sport and many other areas.

Our work aims to assist young people fulfill their aspirations to advance into Sixth Form and then onto university or to become highly skilled in a number of vocational and work-related areas.
