St. Mary's is a Catholic College with a mission to enable all within our community to grow in closeness to God and to develop a sense of values which are based on the example and teachings of Jesus. |
 |
Pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is good and is nutured by the school's faith dimension. This distinctly Catholic ethos underpins pupils' very strong spiritual and cultural development.
(Ofsted)
The pastoral needs of the pupils and students are of a high priority. In addition to the pastoral care system there is a chaplaincy team with a Priest Chaplain and a dedicated team of three lay chaplains. Students find them very approachable and hold them in high regard.
(Diocesan Inspection)
Students support a wide range of local, diocesan, national and international charities. Students themselves select some of these charities and are enthusiastic in showing their concern for them.
(Diocesan Inspection)
The quality of collective worship is an outstanding feature of the College.
